Larch soap dish

$9.00

Did you know that in Acadia our barn floors were made of larch (also called fiddlehead)? I hear memories of beautiful music and long evenings spent with family around guitars, accordions, and wooden spoons. This wood is so strong that even horses' hooves can't mark it. Yes, this unique conifer grows in our Acadian forests. It's the only one that loses its needles in the fall!

Oh, I almost forgot, these soap dishes were torched to give them a nice finish and better resistance to water and mold. Let's go back to our old ways and start by conserving our soap!

A very special thank you to my father: thanks to his creations and his ingenious and daring ideas, he helps us to make considerable progress.

Dimensions: 4.5 inches x 3.25 inches
